Semiconductor Test probe or also name as pogo pin is one of the common testing tools use for semiconductor and PCB board circuit testing for almost 2 decades.  Test probe is a device comes in contact with the circuit on a PCB board, and the probe will carry out the testing procedure to ensure the circuit is complying with the specification.

Due to the working nature, a test probe always comes with a spring loaded in the cylinder.  Force will be applied to ensure the probe is getting contact wit the PCB board in order to carry out the testing procedure.
